Marcello de sa Martins

Brazilian born Marcello de sa Martins began his training at the Studio Comtemporaneo das Artes in Sao Paulo.  He has served as guest artist with several Brazilian jazz and contemporary dance companies, including Dancarte, grupo Raca, distrito cia of dance and passaro de fogo.


Marcello relocated to Europe and joined "Charleroi-danses, where he was a featured soloist in the production “No Wall, No War,” directed by Martine Hebbette.  He also joined the American Musical Company in "Christmas Carol" and "Little Shop of Horrors."


In 2002, he relocated to the United States where he was a guest artist with the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, Sandra Organ Project, and Leslie Scates, among others.  He has performed as a soloist with Houston Grand Opera in the productions "Manon" and "Aida.”


Marcello moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue an entertainment and film career.  There he joined the LA Contemporary Dance Company and participated in the movie "Yes Man" with Jim Carey. He has choreographed all over the world, and was awarded choreographer in the "Enda Brasil" and "Danca Ribeirao” festivals.
